BEGINNERS I and II:
TBAC offers new Beginners classes each January and July. The focus of this class is to introduce the dogs to the agility equipment and to lay the foundation for the TBAC training program. Beginners classes that start in July are on Monday evenings at 6pm or 7:45pm. Beginners classes that start in January are on Wednesday evenings at 7pm.
Duration: 10 weeks
All Beginners class applicants will need to contact Susan Parrish to reserve a space in the January or July class. Applicants will be accepted on a first come basis, will be skill evaluated and will be notified of their status by November 30th / May 30th. A non-refundable $50.00 deposit is required in order to reserve a slot in the class. Training fees are not refundable after your first class.

Before starting the first class, you must provide the following:
- Beginners Registration Form
- Training Waiver Form
- COVID Waiver
- Class fee payable to TBAC
- Copy of a current Rabies vaccination form

After completing the first 10-week course, you can continue into the second 10-Week Beginners II class.
With the successful completion of the second 10 week Beginners class, you can pass into the Beginners III class, at which time you must apply for TBAC Membership in order to continue training with the club. All level classes from Beginner III to Masters are based on a 6-month Training Member Fee schedule.
BEGINNER III, NOVICE, OPEN, EXCELLENT, MASTERS
Training classes from Beginners III thru Masters will vary in class instruction to meet the demands of the dog and handler’s experience level. Increasing segment length and drill difficulty determines each class training plan. Members will be placed in the appropriate classes as determined by the Training Director and the Instructors.
- Beginners I and Novice classes are held on Monday nights at 6:00 and 7:45 PM. Each month class times will rotate between the two start times.
- Open and Advanced Open are held on Tuesday night at 6:00 and 7:45 PM. Each month class times will rotate between the two start times.
- Excellent/Masters classes are held on Thursday night at 6:00 and 7:45 PM. Each month class times will rotate between the two start times.

Duration: 6 months
All levels of training classes from Beginners III up thru Masters will vary in instruction. To meet the demands of the dog’s experience, it is necessary to place each team into the correct class. Prospective Members may contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org to arrange an Instructor-based evaluation.
Before the evaluation/class please submit to the Training Director the following:
- Evaluation Fee Payment – $30
- Current copy of the dog’s Rabies Vaccination
- COVID Waiver
- Membership Application
- Signed Waiver Form
Once accepted into the training program and before the first training class, you must provide signed Membership and Training forms with payment of fees.
Please note: Training fees are not refundable after the first class. DROP-IN’S ARE NOT PERMITTED in Beginners Classes.
